I hadnt realized until after installed, is get a size that will fit inside rather than aboveoutside of the window frame just as you would if getting basic blinds. If installed aboveoutside of window frame they leave about an inch of space, lessening its blackout design and also giving less privacy. Theyre actually a really good product for any room in your home. Instead of dealing with old fashion blinds and curtains, these are the best of both in one, easy to install and use product. Plastic handletab snaps on to bottom making closing and opening simple just by using the tab, pushing upward or downward. These were not hard to install, I watched a video. I really recommend a video, it makes the directions make sense. Getting it level is the hard part. Drilling the screws in was probably the harder part. The shades came the exact size I measured, kudos to the person who cuts them to size. I really like this blind. I bought two of them. I must say that they do not look exactly like the photo on Wayfair.com. I think they look better. There is a distinct beige line in the actual blinds. I have tried to attach photos but they aren't really capturing how nice they are.
