We added the WD405CS as the sidekick washer under our main unit washer, and it has been more useful than I expected. So far I have been using it to wash my husband’s caps and smaller loads that I do not want mixing in with everything else. It has been perfect for that. I like that I can run it at the same time as the main washer. It saves time, especially during busy weeks. The caps come out clean and still keep their shape, which was always a concern before. I have also tossed in delicates and everything has come out fresh. It is simple to use and feels sturdy. I honestly did not think we needed it at first, but now I am glad we have it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first-time induction range owner. I went from gas to induction and to be honest, I am loving it. I live in a very hot desert area where it gets up to 115 degrees in the summer. The old gas range which was also LG and worked very well took so long to boil water and heated up my 1500sqft home pretty good causing my AC to work overtime. This new induction range boils water fast and dramatically reduces the amount of heat doing it. All of my kitchen appliances are LG so I wanted the handle to match my refrigerator and thankfully LG still had the model with the curved handle that matched my 4-year-old refrigerator. I was debating on whether I should get the sleek all digital control model or the old-style knob model and I picked the knobs and I am very happy I did. This induction range heats up so fast and changes temperature so fast that digital controls would be a nightmare. The old school knobs are so easy to reduce and raise the temperature fast.
