Each piece is then meticulously hand painted and finished just waiting to welcome you home. The sofa looks great. The cushions are quite firm but we can always put a foam pad on it. The cords that make the tufts may be uncomfortable without a pad on top. Wow! This 72” mantel was even better than expected. The stain was even, and the finish was more on the matte side which was exactly what I wanted for our remodeled family room! I noticed some people commenting on the pearl insert on the side. I didn’t think it was noticeable. It’s small and towards the back on the right side. Made in the USA, this shelf has an 8 inch depth allowing for ample room on top for personal affects. The distressed look is achieved by hand with attention to detail. As a result, no two beams are the same and your beam will be one-of-a-kind. Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our distressed mantels. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of the lighting and nature of the wood.

The hand hewn White Oak timbered beam that was the architect for our patented molding material was rescued from a Midwestern barn that no longer functioned. Storied with years of history and Mother Nature’s magic, this mantel is the perfect compliment to your indoor or outdoor décor. Due to the natural imperfections captured in the reclaimed wood, the shelf will not have uniform dimensions, i.e. shelf height and depth will be marginally different across the entire mantel.

This beam is constructed out of ¾” thick Aspen wood and is 6 1/2" tall. You choose the length and depth. Each piece of wood is unique and will have more or less character/knots than the other. It is designed to look like a solid beam without weight. The distressed beams are painted either black or white and have the edges sanded over and a brown stain/wax applied for a distressed look. The distressed beams will not be a solid color. Easy to install utilizing a French cleat mounting bracket which is included. Screws are not included. You will need to purchase 3" screws for the application you will be attaching the bracket to. Wood is considered a combustible material. Heat clearances must be adhered to. If installing over a fireplace, check your local building codes and the manufacturer's instructions for your specific fireplace insert or stove.
