I read that in reviews, but I guess I didn’t understand the grasp of what that meant, I vacuumed this rug four times and still could vacuum more lol. The carpet fibers also stuck to my brand new vacuum so that was fun cutting out! For the price of the rug, I would expect less shedding. It is a great rug though, and it does not need a rug pad whatsoever because of how thick it is and it vacuums great. Just sheds a lot at first (hopefully!). Also, it measured 4 inches short of being 12 foot so Wayfair gave me a 25 discount which was great! Highly recommend using their customer service if your rug measurements are off.. Anonymous. What I am NOT happy with is the storage/delivery - rug was delivered folded in half - this made the rug creased/bunched right down the middle and made it nearly impossible to lay flat. I flipped it over and used a fabric relaxing spray and an iron over towel and it HELPED, but it's still not perfectly flat (It's been over a month, and I used a 1/4" rug mat). It is a good deal for the price, if you are ok putting a lot of time into getting it to lay flat - This is a Wayfair/delivery issue though - not the rug, which I highly recommend - especially for the price.. Love this rug! I its so soft and the quality is really great. I searched for weeks trying to find a rug at an affordable price that was somewhat environmentally friendly and not made of plastic. I just don’t understand the reviews about it shedding too much. I ran over it twice with my vacuum after un-rolling it and really have had no issues. I just vacuum over it any time I vacuum my floors. A wool rug does require at least some minimal effort when you first get it. If you’re someone who doesn’t regularly vacuum maybe a wool rug in general just isn’t for you Basically, don’t listen to the reviews about people having to return it because it sheds too much..
