The lights wont be fully installed for a while yet but I am pleased with their overall desighn and condtruction. THey will hold up well to outdoor conditions. There is a swith on the junction box that will change the lighting effect as desired. Lastly - the description, and even instructions, specify a 2 7/8" hole saw cut needed for installation. THis is not a readily avaiable hole sixe to find, but on further isnpection, a hole saw of 2 5/8" is sufficient and will do the job just as good if not better providing a hole with less slop for the fixture to move within.. Ordered Friday, arrived Monday - VERY fast service. Shower pan was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Design is exactly as we expected and reinforcement on the underside is significantly better than the shower pans from the big box stores that I looked at. Support is very dense so floor should be very solid. I am very happy with this for our new bathroom installation in our basement. Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing.
