Beautiful! I did pay for assembly and one person came and assembled it by himself but it took a couple hours and I had to help lift the top bunk up. It’s pretty sturdy. Very nice piece for the price. Our 2 and 4 year old girls love this bunk bed. It's low enough on the top where they're not scared. There's not much room to sit up on the bottom but that's expected. This bed has suited our family's needs well, so far. It seems pretty sturdy, isn't too high so I'm not concerned when my 3 year old climbs up. My 5 year old is on the lower bunk and can sit up without hitting her head. The slats on the bottom bunk allow the mattress to be elevated off of the floor. The reason I gave it 4 stars was for assembly. While I found the directions clear, there were two items mislabeled and I did not realize until I was halfway through construction. I had to completely disassemble to fix the issue. So I would recommend double checking the hole placements in the photos along with the labels on each piece to confirm that you are using the correct piece at each step. Another issue that I had was one screw broke during assembly, another has broken off since, and there was 1 screw missing. The bed turned out in the end and we're happy with it. Overall the bed is nice. Seems sturdy and while it took a few hours, it wasn’t too difficult to get together. The drawers do not actually attach to the bed, they just slide in underneath which is not what I expected. There is also a small gap between the drawers and the bottom of the bed.
