Pros : The waterproof case and TV bracket are well made and fit for purpose. If they weren’t, I’d give this item a one star ⭐ rating. Cons : The wooden case is made from very cheap plywood. The gas springs have so much pressure, when I tried to close the lid, it split the wood. I fitted braces to reinforce the wood, then the whole cover started separating as it was held together with glue and cheap staples! I had to buy and fit more braces and re-glue and screw the whole cover together again! It's a nice cabinet and heavy, but not solid oak as we had thought. It's an oak veneer and not all oak veneer in some spots so if you get unfinished staining doesn't work very well, so we had to paint ours.
