The Viking 8.5 Quart 3-in 1 Roaster is a versatile cooking vessel; use it as a conventional open roaster for poultry, meats or vegetables, add the lid to convert it into a 9 Quart (to rim) covered roaster, Dutch Oven or stockpot. The mirror finish makes it a beautiful serving dish on the table or buffet. Rolled edges ensure easy drip-free pouring. The elevated stainless rack promotes even cooking and can hang from the rim of the roaster for easy draining. Both roaster and lid work on all cooktops including induction. No one can resist the hearty smell of a roast. To achieve a good roast it is important that the meat or other ingredients do not sit in their own juices too long. This roast pan is the ideal accompaniment. The grate is integrated into the pan, but it can also be removed so you can clean it quickly and easily. The roasting pan and grate measure 15.75 x 13.3 inches overall, so there is space even for large joints of meat. The meat or other roasted food sits on a high-quality grate, which allows liquids and fat to drain. This allows a crisp crust to develop. The stainless steel handles facilitate handling the pan during roasting. They stay pleasantly cold, so you can always pick up the roasting pan with a grate. Belgian designer Stefan Schöning's creation is classically simple and is made of high-quality multi-layer material. The grate has a coating, so fried food is easily removed. Any gravy that sticks to the pouring lip is easily removed. The pan is also finished with Silvinox®, an electrochemical surface treatment that reliably protects your new kitchen gadgets from discoloration. You will be able to make succulent, flavorsome roast dishes in this roasting pan.
