This is a recent purchase, but so far I am very pleased with the bed. It seems to be very solid for the price we paid & it supports our large mattress very well so that when my much larger husband moves, there is very little disturbance on my side of the bed. I like the fact that there is a support board between the 2 posts at the head of the bed. I think that helps stabilize it & would suggest anyone looking for a bed consider that.. Charlene. The bed went together fairly easily, even with one person! For a few of the steps, I had it leaning on the wall with a blanket for extra protection, but the pieces went together smoothly with little extra effort. The most time consuming part was simply attaching the bed slats, which was quick with a drill. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions.
