Because Avocado’s mission is creating sustainable products, we prefer our fully organic, absorbent, and breathable Organic Cotton Mattress Pad Protector. However, we also realize that sometimes practicality trumps all else. That’s why we made this GOTS-Certified Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector. The fitted, lightweight pad is waterproof, machine-washable, and dependable in protecting your mattress from life’s little accidents. The waterproof polyurethane layer derived from cornstarch is thin, so you don’t have a plastic-like crinkle or rubbery noise, and it won’t overheat. Plus, it’s sandwiched by two soft organic cotton layers.

I’ve always used mattress protectors but this is my first waterproof one. I tested five different protectors and this is the only one I found without the annoying crinkling or rustling sound. Yes it’s costly but well worth the expense.. Karen. Massapequa, NY. Sat Sep 05 2026

Terrific 100 percent cotton mattress protector! It fit like a glove and is padded with the softest cotton. It is difficult to find a mattress protector that is not made of some type of plastic. I understand people want the plastic to protect from spills. I did not want that. I simply wanted something more other than a thin sheet right against my new mattress. I was simply concerned about sweat going through the sheet and, over time, creating a mattress that may not be as "fresh." This mattress cover is the perfect solution! Well-sewn and crafted. And of course, Mayfair has super deals and this mattress protector was a super deal. You can't go wrong with this. My new mattress will always stay fresh now and for many years to come!. Stephanie. This mattress protector guards your bed against everyday spills, allergens, and unwanted pests. Made from soft cotton terry cloth, it offers a breathable barrier that keeps your mattress fresh while maintaining a comfortable sleeping surface. The fitted design fits snugly over the top and sides of your mattress to stay securely in place night after night. It’s easy to maintain and machine washable, making cleanup a simple part of your laundry routine. Plus, it helps extend the life of your mattress by shielding it from moisture and wear.

We liked the mattress protector overall. I ordered them two one for my master queen bed and the other for my guest room bed. Overall the protector is really good and looks the same as it was shown in the image page. I tried pouring water and it got removed off easily without getting absorbed down the layer, which is what we would want for a waterproof for any accidental leakage!! We are using it now for since a week and were hoping we should have bought them earlier. It’s good in texture and I layer them with my fitted sheet and extra sheet on top of it!! Overall I am satisfied with my purchase!!!. Namita. Illinois. Wed Jul 29 2026
