I really like the overall look and fullness of this faux olive tree. It has a nice height and shape, and once I placed it in a larger woven basket, it made a beautiful statement in my space. The larger basket really elevated the look and gave it a more substantial, upscale coastal feel. The basket that came with the tree seemed too small for the size of the tree, so I definitely prefer the look of it in the larger basket. My biggest disappointment is the whitesilvery underside of the leaves. While real olive trees do have lighter undersides, the contrast on these leaves is quite noticeable and makes the tree look more artificial than I would prefer, especially up close. Overall, its a nice decorative piece and looks quite good from a distance. With a more natural-looking leaf finish and a larger basket, it would be a definite five-star piece.. Linda. I’m really happy with this faux eucalyptus tree! It was fairly easy to put together, although a few of the branch labels were missing, so I had to use a little process of elimination to figure out where some pieces connected. Even with that minor inconvenience, assembly didn’t take very long. One thing that surprised me was how large it is. The tree itself makes a great statement piece, and even the black pot it comes in is a nice size. If you don’t already have a decorative planter, the included pot looks nice enough to use on its own. When I unpacked it, there was very minimal shedding of leaves and debris, which was a pleasant surprise since artificial trees can sometimes make a mess. After fluffing out the branches, it looked full and realistic. I recently had family over for the weekend, and several people commented on how much they loved the decor and asked about the tree. It adds a fresh, natural look to the room without any maintenance. Overall, this is a beautiful faux tree and a great addition to any space. I absolutely love this tree! While it doesn’t look entirely real up close, it makes a truly great addition to the house.
