My only concern is keeping it clean with 2 teenage boys...but we shall see. It looks like it can be spot cleaned pretty well, but time will tell. I also would've loved it be just a wee bit darker beige, but it is a nice creamy color (in pics the view from behind is more accurate color in person). It is very comfortable, and I love that it is "push back" without extra latches, pulls, pockets, or needs to be plugged in to recline. We bought two of these recliners for our living room about a year ago. They are very well-made. The fabric is soft to the touch yet thick and durable. No pilling or signs of wear even with daily use. The green ikat pattern is fun and adds subtle energy to the room while easily coordinating with other decor. I would call the color “avocado”. It is not overly bright, but not as pale as a sage green. The cushion is soft, but supportive. I don’t find it too stiff, as some have said. My only complaint with this chair is it’s proportions. It has an unusually short seat that is not deep enough to comfortably curl up your legs, which is how I often sit, and it is too tall for my feet to touch the ground when sitting. (I’m 5‘2“.) So I almost always use the first recline position, and with that extended it is very comfortable. We really never extend it all of the way. It is a bit stiff to open, but it is doable, and I don’t mind it. I like that it has feet and you really can’t tell that it’s a recliner unless it’s opened. It is heavy and well-made. It comes with the back unattached to the base, and you’ll want two people to put it together, so that one person can guide the hardware pieces together, which lock into place. One other thing to mention is that you will need some clearance from the wall in order for it to recline without hitting. In this design, the back of the chair leans back further once extended. So you can’t snug the chair up to the wall as close as you might ordinarily, if you intend to be able to recline it. Or you’ll need to pull it out each time you do. We have a small living room so this was an important consideration. Overall, it’s a nice chair and we’re happy with the purchase. I think he’s a really nice chairs and I didn’t experience the hard push back as I did. I was a little confused about the different material and prices, but I bought the cheaper one and it’s nice and soft. Received the new chair this morning. Husband was able to bring the box in through the front door (36") without a problem. No plastic wrap but the two pieces were packed nicely and inside a cheese cloth like bag. Legs screwed on easy and the back snapped into place with no issues. Description says seat cushion is removable, I'm disappointed to find that it is not. Back rest isn't high enough to rest your head and neck on when sitting or reclining. I reviewed the dimensions and reviews many times and did not think that was going to be the case. The push back is smooth and easy as is bringing it back to upright position. Fabric is more polyester feeling than I would prefer or thought it would be based on review photos. Several reviews said it was more gray than beige. I don't find that true. It's a darker beige and the design is light beige. I placed a light gray pillow in the chair for comparisons and contrast. It sits high and very firm, exactly as I wanted. The arm rests are comfortable for me. The purpose of the new chair was to replace the old worn sloughing one and give my living room a new look. It was left at my fromt door. I'm a female senior of 71 years old and I was able to slide the box inside , thank goodness with no issues. Unboxing was easy, assembly was so easy as well. The chair itself is exactly what I wanted. Kicking back to recline is easy , doesn't take much and sitting back up is simple. Now I'm barely 5 ft, weight 138lbs. I really do not recommend this chair for tall people or heavy set people. When I lay back my head sits at the top of the chair and my feet hang off the chair. So I can't imagine this chair being comfortable for tall people or bigger people. It is perfect for a small person like myself. But hey I guess if anyone wants to take a chance by all means. Lastly I am concerned that with some use the print looks like it may wear off. I can't be certain about that. Hope this helps anyone who may be comptemplating purchasing these chairs.
