They look gorgeous in my home! My one suggestion is, the pattern is the same on all the beams, so if I were to do it again, I would have the pattern going one way for the first beam and the opposite way for the second beam. I used this as picture frame moulding in a bedroom makeover. It was easy to paint. I used a miter saw to cut it and did have some edges that frayed a bit. Sanding helped.
