Very pleased with the awning. Fits the space just right. Assembly was not overly difficult but the instructions could have been a bit more detailed. I looked at several videos related to assembly of the out sunning awnings and even though they were not for this exact awning it helped immensely. I was able to do the complete assembly by myself but needed help to lift the awning into place on the brackets. I mounted the brackets in the rim joist between the first and second floors... as such I needed to purchase some lag screws as the anchors provided with the awning were suited more to mounting on brick or concrete. Overall I like the pergola. Unfortunately a few pieces were slightly bent in shipping and I didn't know until near the end of construction. A few screws were missing and others were very cheap and the head broke off. The instructions are all pictures, no words, and not always very easy to understand. Many parts numbers are only labeled on the packaging so don't open anything until you get to that step in the directions. Other than the construction issues, I like it.
