Nice quality rug with some weight to it. Very soft to the touch and has a lovely pattern. I've had rugs with this type backing and really like the quality of that as well. Sad it won't work for me. Purchased this for our front entryway. It's an attractive mat. When I selected it online, I thought the dots in between the diamond patterns were just white painted rubber, but they are in fact metal-backed crystal rivets. The only issue I had was the mat came with a missing rivet, but overall, the quality is nice. Have not placed it outside yet, since our current mat is fused down with ice and snow.
