The direction were very clear and easy but I was afraid of being a failure and took the time to get it right the first time. The directions instructed to build it upside down which made perfect sense but stranding it up was a struggle for one person. It takes time to get used to it. Because is ventless it will heat up the room or space where the dryer is located. I found myself emptying the water tank twice after 5 loads. It does leave the clothes damp but you will just have to figure out the settings that works best for your clothes. Noise is minimal and the door is adjustable.
