This king-size mattress (medium firm) in a box was a good choice! The top material is a nice grey color, with a honeycomb padding which is a nice change from the old fashion white mattresses. Once fully expanded out of the box it puffed up almost completely, however I let it sit for 24 hours as instructed prior to sleeping on it. The upper layer of pillow top has a cooling feature which actually is exactly as described! I discovered this feature the first night sleeping on it. This is a great mattress. After opening I let sit for 72 hours before use. When I got ready to put the sheets on there was a problem. After measuring the mattress, it was larger than the standard cal-king thst I originally had. Due to this I had to order new sheets to fit.
