This king-size mattress (medium firm) in a box was a good choice! The top material is a nice grey color, with a honeycomb padding which is a nice change from the old fashion white mattresses. Once fully expanded out of the box it puffed up almost completely, however I let it sit for 24 hours as instructed prior to sleeping on it. The upper layer of pillow top has a cooling feature which actually is exactly as described! I discovered this feature the first night sleeping on it. The bed came with a cutter for the plastic that was pretty cool. It expanded fairly quickly but it takes at least 48 hours before you can use it. As shown this was after 72 hours and it expanded very nicely except for one corner as you can see it did not fill its almost as if there is no fabric behind that area. We are about 3 weeks in to having this mattress and it has been fantastic! We came from an 8 year old medium firm memory foam mattress to this and it’s been so much better.
