The bed came with a cutter for the plastic that was pretty cool. It expanded fairly quickly but it takes at least 48 hours before you can use it. As shown this was after 72 hours and it expanded very nicely except for one corner as you can see it did not fill its almost as if there is no fabric behind that area. It’s a nice mattress, very firm and sturdy once fully decompressed. It has more of a traditional feel, but once you sleep on it, it’s incredibly comfortable. This mattress works ok. I think it leans more to a firmer side than medium firm. Though it works good, I think, having more memory foam on the top part would make it feel a little more comfortable and would definitely help with firmness. I appreciate the support on edges because it really is holding well with weight and I don’t just fall when seated on the edge but I still think there are other medium firm mattress around that feels more comfortable..
