Our aluminum cap channels are manufactured from 6063 T5 aluminum which provides some corrosion resistant properties and will stand up to high levels of wear and tear, making them perfect for use in outdoor environments. Good for the price. Three issues: minor rust on some of the welds, instructions said to use 1/4" drill bit, but that was too big for the included lag bolts, and the biggest issue is that the mount is either level when retracted against the wall OR level when pivoted out 90 degrees. This kit came with one camera that has a crack on the lens. I have been trying to get in touch with the manufacturer to see how they can help rather than have me return the product. It has been a pain reaching support but will keep trying. Aside from that, setting up this kit was pretty easy.
