Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. We are so happy with this dresser and changing table! It’s one of those nursery pieces that is both beautiful and incredibly practical, and I love that it’s designed to grow with your child rather than being something you’ll only use for a short period of time. The changing topper is such a convenient feature. Having the changing area securely positioned right on top of the dresser makes everything so much easier and keeps all of the baby essentials within easy reach. It saves space in the nursery while still giving us a dedicated changing station, which is especially helpful when you’re trying to make the most of the room. One of my favourite things about this dresser is that the changing topper is removable. Once our baby outgrows the changing stage, we can simply take it off and continue using the piece as a beautiful dresser. I really appreciate not having to buy an entirely separate changing table that we’ll eventually stop using. It feels like a much more practical long-term investment because the dresser can transition with our child. The Hazelnut finish is beautiful and looks even nicer in person.
