This was a great addition to my sunroom to replace my older 10K btu model that couldn’t keep up with the extreme colder temps (20°Fs and below). This space is not heated so my Mr. Heater acts as the primary source. I only have to turn the setting to 3 to heat the room and then down to 2. This came just in the nick of time with temperatures getting in the in the unbearable ranges. It was easy to put together and install without directions but I still did read directions to make sure everything perfect based on previous experiences with portable AC units. I have this in a 9x12 room and on the first night, it took quite some time to cool down, the room temperature was 93 when I started it around 9 pm and it reached 73 around 2 am. All windows and doors were closed so no hot air was flowing into the room. It won’t cool down the space as well as a traditional HVAC but it’s great help if it’s all you have.. Michele. US.
