This is a really cute table, both style wise and in color. If you are not going to move it around I think the screws they have provided would be fine but being you are screwing into MDFparticle board a few of the screws did not get good purchase into the top and bottoms tiers. The variations in the wood give the table character and make each section of the top slightly different. It has a warm, rich finish that allows the grain to show through beautifully rather than looking overly uniform or manufactured. Even though this is a large, solid table, it does not visually weigh down the room. The open design and lower shelf give it a lighter appearance while still providing a substantial amount of surface and storage space. Assembly is definitely a two-person job because of the weight of the solid wood pieces. Once assembled, however, the table feels extremely sturdy. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.
