easy to put together. like many of the other reviews state, there is a little gap in the wood pieces. while it was very obvious when we were putting it together, I do not notice it now that it’s together and in use. we bought two chairs and one of them was quite uneven so we had to use several felt pads to level out chair. the other chair did not have this problem. overall, for the price, I am pleased.. Absolutely love this chair! I got as a reading chair, and it is a classic and timeless look. I am 5’2, and it has a deep enough seat to rest my legs on it. It was also extremely easy to assemble. The only downside was the bottom corners had small smudges on them, I am assuming from shipping. I was able to remove with stain remover so wasn’t a big deal and also again on the bottom so unnoticeable. The chair is on the firmer side but think it will soften over time so I don’t mind it!
