My biggest concern is I couldn't tell from the photos if there was yellow/orange tones in it - so if you are in that same boat... no - its not orange - more of a medium brown stain. This was so wonderfully easy to put together! I love the reclaimed wood look. It looks so solid, but it’s very light. I mismeasured and it was about a quarter of an inch too short for me to slip my laundry baskets underneath. I just put a couple extra felt pads underneath and that brought it up high enough. To keep the genuine rustic look of this product we use reclaimed wood and we're always sure to make sure the surfaces are sanded smooth and splinter-free as possible. Please keep in mind that no two pieces will look the exact same and the natural wood color will vary in shade, texture, and tone (some more gray and some browner). This is the result of natural wood weathering. Also, please keep in mind that old nail holes, knot holes, and cracks are a part of what adds character to these one-of-a-kind pieces and can be expected.
