This is indeed a lovely frame. It is a good quality made with velvet backing and real glass on the front. You can also use it in the vertical or horizontal position. The mat allows you to choose if you want to use it or not. I used it as seen in my photo. The original box I received was damaged. It had come with a few scratches underneath the black part. I contacted the seller and was sent an immediate replacement so the customer service was awesome. The new one I received, and seen in my photos , is good but also has a tiny imperfection on the bottom left a tiny scratch also embedded in the black part of the frame.
