Listen, is it kind of ridiculously expensive Yes! Have I found it to be worth it Yes! Now, here’s the caveat, I purchased this for our downstairs bathroom. I’m not sure if I’d be willing to buy two of these for a double vanity due to the price. The best thing about this faucet isn’t the elegant design or color, it’s the fact that my two toddlers and husband can turn this thing on full blast and it won’t spray everywhere like our other faucets do. I didn’t realize how important this was to me, until we had it and now I can never go back to exploding water. So much less clean up. Ps. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools.
