I bought two of these rugs after looking for some time. I have used them on my covered porch for two spring /summer seasons. I am very happy with the durability and it is lovely. Would definitely order again and again. The colour is neutral and gives a "jute rug" vibe however the rug is soft (flat pile). I have not experienced any issues with the threads or staining. It has been wet and dries fairly quickly. Not certain I would install in areas that are not protected as it is not on the cheaper side and would be concerned the elements may damage it. Beautiful rug, quality looks great. The weave combines taupe and gray/charcoal fibers, but I can't give this 5 stars because there is a very stark black fiber woven into the middle and I'm afraid to cut it out without ruining the whole rug. While it's very small, it really stands out amongst the subdued tones in the rest of the rug and it's clearly a defect in the weave. It's the first thing I see every time I look at the rug now.. This is a very soft area rug! I got a pad for underneath it but you probably wouldn’t need one. The cats LOVE it. Beautiful rug! Never disappointed with Loloi rugs. Giving this a 4/5 because there were a few spots where the rug was “picked”. I needed something thin that would still allow my office chair to roll over it freely, and this fir the bill. I like the nice subtle design. It really balances out the darkness of my wood paneled room with the more contemporary light colored and metal furniture. It really ties the room together. It also cleans up easily - no issues with any of my vacuums. Though it is somewhat thin, it's still heavy enough to stay put when vacuuming. I deducted one star because I noticed after about a year or so, the rug started losing its shape ever so slightly in the area where my chair rolls around. Like it was bubbling/warping a bit.
