I went into this project with confidence… and about halfway through, that confidence packed its bags and left. The setup started off surprisingly smooth, and I thought, “Wow, this is going to be easy!” Then I got to the roof. Suddenly, none of the holes wanted to line up, and I found myself pulling, tugging, and questioning every life decision that led me to that moment. I seriously considered quitting right there. But after a lot of determination (and a few emergency calls to my neighbor to come hold pieces while I drilled), everything finally came together. And honestly? Totally worth it. The finished product looks fantastic. It took me about 8 hours to assemble mostly by myself, with occasional backup assistance from the neighbor. So if you’re planning to tackle this solo, prepare for a workout and a test of patience. But once it’s done, you’ll stand back, admire it, and forget all about the roof-induced emotional damage..
