Repetition of plywood parts at the right angle creates beautiful subtle friction to light. No glue or screws are used. Pilke is a unique, decorative light fixture, giving natural warm light through its wooden structure. The word Pilke is a Finnish word for Twinkle. The petite shape and tailored shade make it the ideal lamp for a kitchen or small workspace

I love this little lamp. It was exactly what I was looking for for a small desk nook I have in my living room. Everything seems to be high quality and the real item looks exactly like the picture. Like another reviewer said, it does take a bulb with an E12 base but I had one so it worked out. I bought this as an open box for a fraction of the full price and it came in perfect condition. Even though the quality is good, I'm not sure it's worth the full asking price but I am happy I took a chance on the open box and it was exactly what I wanted. I would purchase this again.. Dagny.
