This is a great rug. Took a leap of faith because of the sale price. Was worried that the yellow would be way too bright. However, fortunately it is much calmer in person. I took pictures with some common yellow items around the house in both daylight and lamp light to show how it is as some people might not like this less bright version. It is a beautiful thick wool rug, and my eight year old daughter loves it. There is some very faint blue rub off from the Novogratz logo that shows up where it had been wrapped. It’s not something that is a problem at all visually, and I will try to get it out through gentle detergent. This unit was exactly what I needed for the space. I was worried that the wood color would be too yellow, but its not, its a neutral beige and doesnt clash with the flooring. Although I haven't put the wallpaper up yet can comment on the aesthetics of the pattern. The flowers are made to look "stamped" on the background with natural deletions in the "ink." Go ahead and call it a comeback, because this terrazzo pattern wool rug plays on the classic seventies design trend that's having a huge resurgence. The classic hue keeps it feeling fresh instead of fussy, while lurex adds a subtle sheen. The bold pattern plays nicely with neutral furniture pieces, adding a level of coolness without the commitment.

Be aware that this rug smells so bad that I thought our dog had an accident in the room. It’s truly awful. The rig is also insanely itchy. It’s not a good rug for sitting on at all. t kind of feels like a jute rug. Or an indoor/outdoor rug That said, it’s beautiful and lays flat and has a super low pile.
