When I placed my order I was a bit confused. I thought this was an entire recessed lighting unit, but it is only the outer trim. I contacted customer service and got everything straightened out. And the agent who helped my was very pleasant and had what I needed sent out in a timely manor. This trim piece itself is very good quality and worked out well once I had the housing unit for it.. D. The trim makes it look professionally installed even though it was a DIY. The brightness was surprising as was how quickly the light is full bright.
