Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. This is my first induction cooktop. Didn’t know what to expect, but I got to say, it is wonderful. It heats quickly and cooks evenly at different temperatures. The controls are easy to see and use. It has different settings, like simmering that works great. I really like the configuration of the controls as well. Did I mention how nice it looks on our counter, picture attached. When I got the cooktop it came with all the necessary instructions and warnings including how not to scratch the ceramic top. This is a well made grill considering it was made in China and I put it together. It did come with a few little dents from shipping which I was able to make unnoticeable.
