Install your new UltraShield Composite Decking by NewTechWood, using our standard series high density plastic hidden fastener T clips. The T clips are designed to anchor the board down as well as let the board contract and expand freely. There are 2 different clips in a package 1 clip is made with 100% recycled HDPE plastic and come with a screw already in place. The other is a stainless clip also with the screw in place. Both screws are painted black so that it is hidden from the eye. There are 750 TC-2 clips (Tension Clips) and 150 TC-1 clips (Locking Clips). Purchased the teak color. Carpenter says it’s a great product. Does not come with anything but siding pieces. Carpenter watched video on how to install-very helpful. Cuts easily with an electric saw. Nice clean edges. Very heavy. Ridges are hollow so we installed a ledge above and below siding so that insects could not get in and make nests. We had some exposed screws due to were the edge of siding ended in project. Did a paint match and painted tops of screws. Very happy with results. I could not have installed this siding. No glue or tools are required, just snap the interlocking tiles together. Can be used for indoor or outdoor settings. Perfect for an entryway, mudroom, deck, terrace, showers, bathrooms, pools, or anywhere in between. They are made of solid hardwood so the scratches can be sanded out. Floating installation with tiles can be removed and relocated if needed. Each tile is 8 solid pieces of solid teak wood on a plastic base. The teak is responsibly harvested in Indonesia. It's regularly inspected and every shipment receives Indonesian government clearance for compliance with responsible teak harvesting.

We are currently still building out our patio, so far we are in love with look!! The tiles are very easy to work with and go together quite easily. I will add photo once the project is complete. I have three sets of these and they make a nice 9' x 9' patio. It's a big upgrade over plain concrete. They won't work on dirt or grass, though. I wouldn't recommend a wooden deck underneath them either. Anonymous. OK. Sun May 03 2026
