Got this product through a Municipal program. (H2O Water Sense Dual Flush) In less than 12 months the flush mechanism stopped working properly twice. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. Our commercial soup container is made of high-class stainless steel, plastic, and PU foam, which is sturdy and durable. Be aware that the title says 5 liters, but the true SOUP CONTAINER capacity is 3.8 liters. This container is very cute and the recessed handles make it very easy to carry when full. I tested the heat retention using PLAIN WATER...I boiled 3.8 liters of water to the 212 degree boiling point and poured the hot water into the container. I secured the lid. After 3 hrs, I opened the lid for the first time and the water temp dropped from 212 to 174 (an avg of 12 degrees per hour). (For me, 175 is the perfect water temp for tea and coffee.) For the next 5 hours, I checked the temp every hour and each time, the temp dropped by only 5 degrees. So, the water temp dropped an avg of 12 deg per hour in the 1st 3 hours, but only 5 deg per hour thereafter! Apparently, the reason the water cooled much faster in the early hours compared to the later hours is due to "Newton's Law of Cooling." Anyhow, during the course of the 8 hr test (where I only removed the lid to check the temp), the temp dropped from 212 to 148, so the container does a GREAT job of holding the heat. Here are my results for broccoli cheese soup. I filled the container to the near the top with boiling broccoli cheese soup (boiling point was 199 degrees). I didn't open the lid until 5 hours later and the creamy soup was at about 160 degrees, which was a perfect temperature for soup!. Danielle. Mon Jan 26 2026

This pan is exceptionally good and heats up quickly and evenly, I confirmed it with the thermometer with a flat surface probe. I cooked a fried egg in butter and it did not stick. I made a quick fried rice in it and it did not stick. Cleaning is exceptionally easy. Just water and some dish soap and a sponge. No traces of tarnish in sight. It's simply an excellent pan. I had a few pieces of Wilton Armetale purchased before, but never a frying pan and I am very pleased. It does have one limitation that I must disclose. It spins on our flat ceramic stovetop when heated. When it cools down, it becomes flat again. Since I got it primarily for the stovetop cooking, not for oven, nor for grilling, I hammered its bottom lightly on the outside, in the middle, with a wooden hammer, to change its curvature a fraction of a degree. Nothing is visible on its cooking surface. The water sits flat right in the middle, no pooling in the edges. But now it sits flat both when it is cold and when it is heated to any temperature, well beyond 250C or even 300C when water rolls over its surface like a giant mercury ball. You can cook or fry with any oil in it, including extra virgin olive oil, of course. And cooking sprays will not harm it either. Only when using it on the grill, one should be more careful with the choice of oils or sprays, because they can catch flames. I am in love with this pan and cannot recommend it highly enough.
