Ive had this for a little under a week now and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I had some trouble getting to to deal correctly the first few times while trying g to seal the cucumbers pictured because their moisture content is so high, and the bags that come with the sealer are very low quality, in my opinion. I would definitely get a different brand of bags. I purchased the Hamilton Beach NutriFresh bags and they work super well! The scale works really well and has four weight modes. This is the perfect slow cooker for dips. It's been hard to find the right size with a high cook setting. The 1/2 and 2/3 quart cookers are marketed for dips but if you're actually making the dip from scratch then you need a little more room to fit all the ingredients before they cook down. Also, those sizes are basically just warmers because they don't have a high cook setting. The quality is fantastic. The temperature control is labeled well and easy to use. For safety's sake, a red light illuminates while in use and the handles stay cool to the touch. The lid is great. It's clear glass and has a vent hole. I love that I can see how everything is coming together without having to lift the lid and let all the heat escape. I've only had mine for a month so I can't really vouch for durability but I do attest that mine still looks and works like brand new. I highly recommend this Nesco slow cooker.
