It’s very pretty. The background is a dusty matte pink and the palm trees are a subtle metallic gold. They only look shiny when light is reflecting on them, otherwise they look brown. I’ve never wallpapered before so I went really slow and the whole wall (five panels) took me nine hours.. lol. The pattern lined up well and it was easy to work with because you could smush it around while the paste was drying. I used Zinsser Universal wallpaper paste. It definitely shows every bump so make sure you have a very smooth wall surface. I had a hard time making the seams “invisible” because the solid light color background doesn’t hide any imperfections. (But that might have been my inexperience too). Use a very sharp knife when trimming because the top paper shreds from the back and you’ll get white ragged edges. The paper was sturdier than I expected, but I was also careful not to scrub too hard or press too much on the smoother tool. It seems waterproof, hoping it holds up in the bathroom. I only needed one panel from the second roll. If the pattern were LITTLE tighter, you wouldn’t waste as much. Clever, how they design it that way.. Anonymous. Thu Nov 20 2025
