We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. This trying to bed was just what I was looking for. I have a piece of furniture when it's not being used. I looked at the Murphy beds but then it's just a cabinet. This gives you something to sit on. We ordered two of these beds for our girls and we absolutely love them! It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put both of them together. I did take off one star because one of our girls lights came damaged.At first we thought it was just the remote but the wiring was damaged as well. Our other daughter’s remote works with the other bed but only certain colors and the music function does not work on the damaged bed. Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome of the bed. Assembling the bed is a timely process. The instructions says two persons are required for assembly. Not true. I completed the job by myself, which is likely the reason it took 7-8 hrs to assemble. Attention to details is necessary for assembly there are very few words in the pamphlet so the pictures are your path. The delivery however did require two ppl to lift. A bunky board is needed. 3) Drawer front should be flat wood pieces with no silver colored pieces showing - looks cheap. 4) The shelf bottom is so thin that no weight can be put on it.
