Nice lamps but I don’t care for the lampshades thy come with. The original shades are Fairly easy to assemble. The fabric has some weight and it attaches with velco at the back. I like the size of the lamp. It has a smaller footprint and doesn’t take up a lot of room on the end table. I especially like the on/off touch switch at the base of the lamp. The shade seems to mute the light coming from the bulb. The light has a yellowish dull glow not very conducive for reading.
