We’re extremely happy with the Touchstone Sideline Elite fireplace. The flame looks very realistic and bright, and being able to adjust the flame speed is a great feature. The flame and base color options are excellent and don’t look cheap at all. It’s definitely worth the extra cost compared to cheaper options—this looks and functions like a very high-end fireplace without having to spend thousands more. It added a beautiful, premium touch to our new media wall. It came with a log, driftwood and crystals. So, you can style it however you like. The only downside was the shipping speed. Delivery through Wayfair took about two weeks, which caused some inconvenience. Other than that, the fireplace itself is amazing. This unit allows wood framing and can be installed without a surround, finishing material installed right up to the glass for a simplified modern look, or with the durable 3” stainless steel surround. The unit even comes with a stainless steel cover for protection when not in use. Tahoe 45ol comes with a rock and Black Onyx fire glass media, and a stainless steel frame.
