I am very pleased with this bowl. Great quality and look. I find it sturdy enough without being too heavy. Love the color is not too shiny. It's more of a dark brown brass color. I am using it to place large crystal spheres on my living room table. I am glad is big enough to hold big spheres, but its size is not overpowering. I thought it would be too long for my table, but the minimalist design helped. Also height is conducive to add other things like potpourri as well. Low, long and sure to add a pop of color - the Veradek Corten Steel Long Box planter. Watch as the raw corten steel develops a rich patina finish, adding character to outdoor spaces like the backyard or patio. Its thick gauge corten steel construction ensures that rust develops on the surface of the planter ensuring the structural integrity of the planter body for years of use. In addition, all corten steel series planters are equipped with styrofoam insulation to help keep plants healthy in both hot and cold extremes. Veradek corten series planters are designed so you can be confident that your planter will hold up against weather related cracking and splitting. With the perfect balance of design, structure and purpose, the Corten Steel Long Box will pair well with your favorite flowers or plant arrangements. During the initial rusting phase, rust will drip from the surface of the planter. Veradek recommends placing an appropriate protective barrier between the planter and ground to ensure no stains are left behind.
