This is a very solid deck box. The installation was kinda annoying and it could be because I'm more of a picture follower and read when something doesn't make sense but the metal bar needs to line up with the notch in the middle after you connect the latch. I had it all screwed down and realized it and had to double screw that. Another one you have to watch out for are the hinges. But it's nice knowing this thing should last and it's very large. Very roomy deck box. Looks nice. Fairly easy to assemble with two people. It's big! The directions for assembling it could be a little better -- small print and not very clear diagrams. My only real disappointment with the box is that rain gets in along the center seam in the top. If I were to do it again, I would buy a waterproof box, not just weather resistant. I use it for storing my sectional cushions, so water getting in was problematic. We remedied the issue by using duct tape on the interior along the seam. Fingers crossed that it holds.
