These captain chairs are the exact same shapechair as the dining chair just with two arms to screw into the two holes on the chair. Assembly was easy. Don’t worry when the arm is just dangling from the chair. Just keep spinning the arm around tightening it until it is almost flush. Then, use the wrench to make it flush. They just arrived and are comfy, we’ve been slowly adding to our Polywood furniture. Definitely worth the price, the chairs we bought 4 years ago look the same as they did brand new. You could spend a little less for something else but be replacing it or spending time sanding and restraining later on. We’re on the Olympic Peninsula and the weather is particularly hard on things left outside and these hold up. We chose the Vineyard chairs over some of the other styles because of the higher back, were taller and I wanted to have some ease to the chairs.
