The pileless wool construction makes these rugs easy to clean despite their plush feel. Perfect for medium-traffic areas where comfort is a priority like the living room or bedroom.

As others have said, the colors in the photos are very misrepresentative - they are much more dull and grey. That said, the rug feels great underfoot and everyone in my house has spent time standing on it. There's no way a door would be able to pass over it and I feel like it would make a table or other furniture feel off balance, so would recommend more for a runner or area rug that sits in the middle of a room.. Sarah. Baltimore, MD. Thu Sep 24 2026

This indoor area rug features a classic chevron pattern in a subtle blue and beige colorway that works with various décor styles. It's hand-tufted from stain-resistant wool that is naturally durable. What's more, its 0.35" pile height means it won't impede doors from closing – and it also looks great on top of wall-to-wall carpeting (we love a layered look!) We recommend fitting a rug pad underneath to keep it from slipping and sliding around. Subtle yet sophisticated, the Charles rug in blue brings a fresh perspective to a timeless herringbone pattern, complete with a crisp modern finish. The cool-toned palette of soft ivory and denim-inspired blue adds depth without overwhelming, making it a versatile foundation for modern, coastal, or transitional spaces. The fine chevron weave delivers quiet texture, adding interest while maintaining a serene, minimal feel. Whether anchoring a bedroom or refreshing a living space, this rug balances classic design with contemporary ease.

This hand-tufted area rug brings traditional aesthetic appeal and classic warmth to your space. Woven from wool, its soft texture showcases organic hues with natural tonal variation for a relaxed look underfoot. The pile provides plush comfort underfoot, while the flat-weave construction still offers easy vacuuming so it's a great choice for high-traffic areas. It pairs easily with existing decor to ground your layout. Plus, the soft surface adds subtle texture and depth across a variety of floor types.

I've had this rug for over a year with no issues. It has texture without having big knots or loops. I like jute and sisal but not the smell or the shedding, so wool it is. I am super picky about my rugs. This rug arrived undamaged, with barely a scent and laid flat right away. It does not shed. I love that the edges are finished well, not serged which could fuzz or unravel. Easy to vacuum. It's very thick and soft underfoot, no rug pad. I have the 8x10 under a king bed in my guest room. I ordered the blue color (forgot what it was called at the time. Denim?) which is now called color 8? I absolutely HATE that Wayfair will no longer commit to naming its colors, heaven forbid the customers insist the rug that arrived doesn't match the color name or a photo we can barely see. Impossible to have faith in this company when it comes to rugs now. I was thinking of ordering the same rug in 9x12 for my family room but now I don't trust the color "8". Mine arrived more dominant in ivory with very narrow lines of blue, which was even better for me. It really lightened the room. But if you are looking for dominant blue from afar, this is not it. I will not be surprised if Wayfair starts eliminating reviews now. I rely heavily on reviews so I hope this helped you.. Kat. SE. Wed Jun 03 2026

Introducing... NuStory’s solid rug program – led by our Alder Rug, a handloomed piece made from plush Sardinian wool and gabbeh dyed for rich tonal variation. Inspired by the grounding beauty of earth pigments and minerals, the palette layers gray, blue, moss, rust, and evergreen into a subtle wash of color. The gabbeh dyeing technique enhances the texture, creating soft high-low variations that add quiet depth and a painterly quality underfoot. With its generous, velvety pile and organic tonal shifts, the Alder Rug will bring rich color and lay a strong foundation for further decorating.
