Mirror looks to be well made. It was as described. It was easy to hang with the brackets provided, however, I definitely wouldn’t want it hanging strictly from the drywall anchors provided. What a beautiful mirror! I will be hanging it on the wall in a bedroom I’m renovating. For now, I’ve leaned against the wall where it will eventually hang. This mirror is absolutely breathtaking and actually looks better in person vs. online photos. I can’t imagine the time it took to painstakingly place the thousands of shells that cover the elaborate frame. It arrived in heavy Fort-Knox-like packaging to protect it and takes 2 people to unpack. I was amazed that there were only 2 lonely little shells that had come loose and is totally undetectable. The cleat hanger that’s attached is extremely strong but unfortunately the wall hanger part was missing. Perigold offered to replace it but it would take so long and I was able to purchase a set at my local hardware store. I had a handyman hang it, but I did help him to lift it because of its awkward shape and weight. I love it in my kitchen nook but it would be suitable for any room in my home. This Robern vanity mirror is high quality and fits well over the bathroom vanity. However, my original order requested brushed nickel to be consistent with the bathroom fixtures. Evidently, the manufacturer discontinued this finish but did not communicate the discontinuation. I phoned and Perigold graciously offered the item in polished nickel at the lower cost of brushed nickel. The mirrors are up and look very good but I still would have preferred the brushed nickel.
