I got the curry velvet color. It looks quite different than the color in the picture but I was expecting that from other photos. More deep orangey red brown than tan. But I actually think it's so beautiful! Took me and my boyfriend about 45 minutes to set it up, it was fairly easy. The bottom cushion is firm and the back cushions are nice and soft. I got it for my therapist office and I think that is a perfect combination for clients sitting on it regularly. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality, fabric feels softer and natural, which was important to me since we have an 18 month old baby. Quality is much higher relative to price point. I was able to assemble it myself , while baby was "helping" me, instructions were pretty straightforward and it took me about an hour, no breaking sweat. The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture. This couch is beautiful and compliments my mid century home beautifully. It is comfortable and sits 3 adults perfectly. I love that it is lightweight and easy to move when cleaning. The only downside to this sofa was that for the simplicity of the parts that were included, it took a very long time to put together because the directions lacked specifics to the placement of the beams when attaching. A great couch that's pretty comfy. I really happy I decided to go with this couch as it perfectly fits into the theme I had planned for my space. The walnut looks rich and deep and I love that this has a faux-suede feel without the trouble of having a suede couch + upkeep. It has that mid-century look while not looking too dated or out of place if I were to go a different direction with my theming.
