Rubber-Cal's Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is a 3mm thick virgin rolled rubber mat and runner that is available in either a 36-inch or a 48-inch width that offers excellent traction with wider grooves and protrusions. The surface pattern (which is comprised of wide ridges and valleys) is more prone to trapping and cleaning debris and liquids from heavy foot traffic while maximizing the ease of cleaning and comfort. Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is designed for light to medium foot traffic where traction and increased safety are needed and performs especially well in transient or temporary applications (e.g. wet aisle ways, catered parties, temporary walkways, etc...). The fabric base finish adds subsurface traction, keeping the runner's bottom surface secure to the floor. Since this product is made from virgin SBR it creates a completely watertight surface, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. Strong, highly caustic cleaning solutions (e.g. bleach) are not recommended. I needed some gym flooring for my home gym that is getting slowly put together. These went on sale and are the perfect fit. They ship wrapped and sealed well, have a slightly rubber smell that isnt going to overwhelm you while they air out, and feel great under your feet. The edges piece together nicely however you may have to lift the edge near the corner to lay 2 together so it does press the other down. Again this is not a big deal. Finally putting the floor together is simple, Line up the edges and step, slap, stomp, or use a rubber mallot to get the edges to fit together. A product and wayfair shipped super fast. When I selected it online, I thought the dots in between the diamond patterns were just white painted rubber, but they are in fact metal-backed crystal rivets. The only issue I had was the mat came with a missing rivet, but overall, the quality is nice. Have not placed it outside yet, since our current mat is fused down with ice and snow. I kept peeling the paint off my garage floor no matter what brand or type of paint I tried. I followed the procedures every time, but it started peeling again within a week or two of usage. I planned on using these rolls as parking pads for 4 cars, but I under-ordered, and ended up cutting them into strips for the tires to roll and park on. That has actually worked great for me.
