Heavy duty bird feeder. The birds find the suet. It’s just difficult to find just the right place for me to hang out every morning and remove it before dark. It’s just awkward, but I really like it. All of the birds like eating upside down. The raccoons will eat everything. They don’t leave any of my bird feeders alone. So I have to bring all of them in at night. They destroy flowers in pots on my deck and it’s frustrating dealing with them.. Joyce. Powell, OH. Fri Jan 02 2026

Protect your bird feeders and houses with this metal squirrel baffle, designed to deter squirrels and other animals. Made from galvanized steel, it offers durable, all-weather performance. The spiked design and wrap-around installation create a reliable barrier, helping keep feeding areas safe and undisturbed.

It works for square wooden posts. Most squirrel baffles are for small, round, metal poles. This is what I needed but the metal is very thin so I'm waiting to see how long it lasts because it was pretty expensive.. Christine. Klamath Falls, OR. Wed Aug 26 2026

Hopper Bird Feeder is easy to fill top locks securely and combined with an adjustable weight spring-operated perch restricts access to squirrels and larger birds. Durable, chew-resistant powder coated steel body with a zinc-plated hanger. Simply unlatch and lift the squirrel resistant lid for easy filling and cleaning, seed level indicator window shows when the feeder is empty. The overhanging roof and hopper keeps the seed dry and protected from the elements. Top locks securely preventing squirrel access while the weight activated perch prevents access to seed ports.

I was concerned about whether the birds would accept this based on the reviews but there are dozen of the flitting around it as I write this. I did deduct a star because the metal is a much thinner gauge than my previous brand name one (which needed replacing because a bear destroyed it- never had bears here before). The old one had already survived having a small tree fall on it. This one would not withstand that. The lid already had a dent when it arrived and I could easily bend the metal with my bare hands. The finish is a sprayed on paint, not a more durable powder coated finish so it will likely rust pretty quickly. I didnt want the hassle of a return so I kept it. It does the job and if it lasts a couple of seasons itll be worth it.. Susan. Deep River, CT. Sun Nov 08 2020
