This cutting board was inspired by the original boos butcher blocks that were made from a solid piece of hardwood. their product is as close to nature as you can get and has a unique story. Each board is kiln-dried, with rustic edges and slight variances. You can even count the age rings. Some of their boards will have more grain than others; some will have knotholes and discolorations. All these features make each board beautiful, unique, and full of character just like they made them in 1887. Which one of their all-natural rustic-edge design cutting boards speaks to you.

Unlike traditionally made boards, end grain construction is less dulling to cutlery because the wood grain direction accommodates cutting instead of resisting it. Wear and tear are minimized on both cutlery and the board, giving more longevity to all your cutting tools. This multi-functional board serves as a prep station, cutting, and serving board to satisfy all your kitchen needs. Decorative functionality at its finest, it's what you deserve. This product is made from acacia wood from Thailand, a non-endangered species that is not harvested from rainforests. We plant a tree for every tree we use. After use, wash this product in warm soapy water and wipe excess water off with a dry towel. Never soak or leave water on the wood during drying as it may result in warping over time. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher. Rejuvenate and protect your board by rubbing it down with butcher block oil after each use. When the board is dry, apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our butcher block oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood. From time to time, the surface may become "Bumpy". This is completely natural as we leave all of our wood in its natural state with no varnishes or lacquers. You can simply use high grit sandpaper to smooth it out and oil it again to bring it back to the new!

Absolutely love this cutting board! I highly recommend it to anyone BUT ONLY if you are committed to oiling constantly for the first 2 months. Because of the high quality wood, it dries easily. So after each use for the first 2 months I oiled and conditioned the board. Now I only touch up 1-2 times a month and I’m sure even that will lessen with time.. Tanya. PA. Sun Sep 27 2026

You will notice Tramontina's 17.75 in x 13.5 in Teak Wood End-Grain Chopping Board thanks to its distinctive pattern. You'll love the chopping board - favored by cooking enthusiasts because it requires little to no maintenance. End-grain chopping boards are made from short pieces of lumber - in our case, durable, authentic Brazilian teak wood - that are grafted together vertically with the end pieces making up the surface. The look is as eye-catching as it is functional. The board's dense surface also makes it more stable during use - while it is carved out a groove along the edge catches juice or liquid so it won't spill over the side.

Wood cut from teak root carries knots, swirls and closed grain that a straight plank rarely shows, so every board comes out one of a kind. Its thickness gives it real presence on a counter and keeps it steady under a knife. Use it for chopping, then carry it to the table with bread and cheese still on it.
