I have had these a few years now. They are holding up well. They have survived two dogs so far, the current dog being a 104lb all black German Shepard. Our previous dog was a tan Pittie who could be quite rambunctious. They have cleaned well after a few stomach issues from both ends. I have a pad under the rug in the living room. I have to say that it seems to loose more fibers than the others when vacuuming and can get snags. Over all the colors are still pretty and it is nice on bare feet. When we first got them there were some hard fibers that felt like stepping on a needle. They have since gone with wear and vacuuming. This is a lovely, soft area rug. Much nicer than expected -especially for the price! I need a sturdier rug for an area near my dogs water bowls- past rugs have shredded due to spilled water. I spent a little more on this rug and I'm sure it will be worth every extra penny spent! The fringe is a very nice size- not overwhelming or too tempting for the dogs to see as a chew toy. This rug compliments my other rugs in the space so not only is it not competing with color and design but it actually compliments and adds dimension. VERY nice!!
